University of Arizona study confirms that the
US STEAM® proprietary PLUS System kills on contact
US STEAM® and The University of Arizona studied the use of steam to kill the coronavirus. Our Steam Plus System* proved it was able to inactivate the COVID-19 (Sars-CoV-2) Virus on surface contact.
Steam PLUS our proprietary filtration system only found in US STEAM® products. Our PLUS filters enhance the physical properties of the steam by producing tiny gas filled nano bubbles. Nano bubbles penetrate the protective Biofilm allowing the heat to attack the virus on surface contact.
THE STUDY CONCLUSIONS AND PROOFS
This study was conducted to assess the antiviral effectiveness of steam applied at three contact times (1 second, 3 seconds, and 5 seconds) against SARS-CoV-2 dried onto stainless steel (hard, non-porous). SARS-CoV-2 was more efficiently inactivated on stainless steel, with infectious virus levels reduced to levels below detection on all five test replicates following 5 seconds of exposure to steam (> 99% reduction).
