Can I steam clean windows?

Steam clean is a powerful way to clean windows and remove residue, dirt, mold, pollen and anything else that gets on our windows. Not just the glass or the pane, but the entire window unit that can be very tricky to clean inside of the tracks, sill, side jamp and even the screens.

Why does steam work for windows?

Using steam to clean is powerful because the steam is able to get into the pores of the surface to push the dirt out so that you can wipe it away or vacuum it away if you are using a steam vacuum.

Great part about this is that you don’t need to use chemicals! Also because of the heat of the steam- you are killing mold spores, germs, bacteria,  so it won’t return after you clean. It’s good to use steam because it works at the highest temperature and kills any bacteria spreading mold without using harsh chemicals. 

How to steam clean windows?

All you need is a good steam cleaner and a microfiber cloth to clean window sills. The instructions are simple: Dust the area, steam it, and wipe it! 

Also, you can even use a steam vacuum and skip the dusting step.
